Why accessibility matters
Millions of people use screen readers, keyboards or magnification to browse. Inaccessible sites shut them out, and accessibility rules such as WCAG, the ADA, the European Accessibility Act and India’s Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act increasingly apply to business websites.
What can and cannot be tested automatically
Automatic checks catch only a portion of problems: missing text alternatives, form labels, link and button names, document language, heading structure and similar. Colour contrast, keyboard focus and meaningful link text need a person. Treat a clean result as a good start, not a certificate.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a full WCAG audit?
No. It runs the checks that are possible on the page source. A full audit adds manual testing with a keyboard and screen reader.
What is the most common accessibility problem?
Images without alt text, followed by low colour contrast and form fields without labels.
Does accessibility help SEO?
Often, yes. Alt text, clear headings and descriptive links help search engines as well as people.
Read-only: we request public pages the way a visitor would. Private and internal addresses are blocked, and nothing you enter is stored.
